Sudbury's SBBL History


2016 Sudbury finished third in their first season in Division 3.

2017 Sudbury won promotion as runners up into Division 2.

2018 Sudbury crowned Champions of Division 2, winning fifteen matches with one loss.

           In the Division 2 Cup and Walter Smith Cup, Sudbury lost in both semi-finals.

2019 Sudbury finished eighth. In the Division 1 Cup Sudbury conceded the semi-final.

           In the Walter Smith Cup Sudbury lost in the first round.

2020 All league and cup matches were cancelled due to the Covid 19 Global Pandemic.

2021 Sudbury withdrew from League Division 1,

         In the Arthur Spackman Trophy Group 'A' Pairs League Sudbury finished fourth. 

2022 Sudbury finished third in the Arthur Spackman Trophy Group 'B' Pairs League.

2023 Sudbury finished fifth in the Arthur Spackman Trophy Group 'B' Pairs League.

2024 Sudbury will play in the Arthur Spackman Trophy Group 'B' Pairs League.


This is a mixed league for both new and established bowlers, which is both competitive and friendly, together with visiting different greens is proving to be very popular.
