Sudbury Bowls Club
The bowling club was founded in 1913, details can be found on the `History of Sudbury BC` page.
We are a members club located in Quay Lane, entrance is opposite the Quay Theatre.
Bowls England (Outdoors), EIBA (Indoors ) and Federation bowls (Indoors and Outdoors) are played by the club.
Having celebrated it's centenary in 2013, the club continues to be successful due to a mix of both competitive and social members.
Adjacent to the six rink lawn green is a spacious heated four rink indoor club, complete with changing rooms, licensed bar and social lounge, together with a fully equipped kitchen.
Our competitive bowlers participate in National and County Competitions. and integrate into the 60 plus teams in our indoor leagues and annual competitions.
If you would like to try bowls for the first time, Coaches are available to help and explain the finer points of the game. Or you are an experienced player looking for a new club, please come and visit us and see what we can offer.
To get in touch with any questions you may have, please use the e-mail form on the 'Contact' page many thanks and happy bowling.
We're a very friendly club!
